HOME DELIVERIES

Home delivery is now an option on the shopfront for our Sidmouth customers. Customers in the Sidmouth area with EX10 postcodes can now select a home delivery option at check out. (With apologies to our Sidbury customers – we will extend the scheme to reach you as soon as we can).
 

If this trial is successful we will roll this out to more areas. If you’d like home delivery in your area you can help us by registering your interest here:

Home delivery costs £3.50 and can be chosen as an option each time you order, or on an ad hoc basis when it’s not possible to get to a collection point.

If this first pilot delivery round is successful the service will be rolled out to other areas where there is enough interest.  Please tell all your neighbours and friends to help make this service worthwhile and as sustainable as possible. Let us know if you would like some printed flyers, we can include some with your order.

HOW OUR HOME DELIVERIES WORK
If you would like a home delivery to an address in the Sidmouth EX10 area, please complete your order in the normal way and choose the home delivery option at checkout.  If you are new to IMBY, please go to our website www.inmybackyard.co for more information.

Your order will be delivered to your door on Friday afternoon between 2pm and 5.30pm. The driver will knock or ring your bell to let you know your order has arrived.

SAFE PLACE
In the notes field, please let us know any specific details about a safe, dry place you would like us to leave your order, e.g. in your porch or bike shed.

CHILLED ITEMS
Please leave a cool box with frozen ice packs for any chilled or frozen items you have ordered.

RETURNABLE IMBY CRATES
We will leave the rest of your order in a returnable orange IMBY crate. As a small start-up business it’s vital we get our crates back. Thank you for your understanding and for keeping the crate safe until your next delivery, when we will take it back to the hub. We will santise each crate between deliveries.

Disclaimer: once the driver has left your order in the designated place, the items are longer our responsibility. Please make sure you get any chilled or frozen items into a fridge/freezer as soon as possible.

ADDING SECOND/THIRD ORDERS
If you are making second or third orders, choose the Branscombe Hub collection point to not be charged again for delivery, and make sure to leave a note that you have paid for home delivery and to combine your orders.
